About me

Hi! I am Dóri, vaishnava yogamaster, besides mother of 2 little kids, wife. I used to be a marketing specialist and I have spent 14 years working at multinational companies. I know what it’s like to have a sedentary lifestyle, to live in a squirrel’s wheel and under constant stress.

This is why I started my journey with yoga in 2009, when I first encountered it. I currently have 16 years of active yoga practice and 7 years of teaching experience

I would like to help you too, because if you are reading this, I guess you are looking for something.

  • If you are living in constant stress, I will help you learning to meditate.
  • If you have a sedentary job or your range of motion is limited, I will teach you to practice asanas correctly.
  • If you are constantly exhausted and tired, I will teach you to breathe and relax correctly.
  • If you often have pain in your waist/back/neck, I will teach you to sit, stand, walk, and practice asanas correctly.

This is most effective in an individual setting, but if you come to my group class, I still pay special attention to each of my guests, and I hold all my classes in a preventive manner, within the framework of spinal therapy – this is possible because of the small size of the class.

Vinyasa krama yoga

Sri Krishnamacharya’s vinyasa krama yoga system allows for a varied practice that is adapted to our strength and current state. The system consists of 5 series (Chandra, Simha, Baddha, Uddi, Pancha). The first of these (Chandra) is the only one that is easier – being a Moon series, it is recommended for days when we are tired or our strength is limited (e.g. in case of injuries, menstruation, or pregnancy). The other 4 series are quite advanced and powerful series. In addition to the asanas, breathing and energetic locks, bandhas, are of great importance in the practice in the series, as all of these help to maintain focus and help to carry out a strong practice. I do not recommend it for complete beginners, at least minimal and regular practice is required.

Spinal yoga

The sedentary lifestyle of modern people is not good for the spine – this method is therefore based specifically on spinal therapy, gentle exercises that move the whole body, combined with the traditional hatha yoga system. Gentle, excellent preventive practice, ideal for beginners and the elderly.

Maternity yoga

Gentle, full-body yoga exercises for expectant mothers, recommended from week 12. The practice is taking into account the physical characteristics of expectant mothers, and the asanas are complemented by pranayama, pelvic floor exercises, relaxation and meditation.

I do my best to convey the elements of the approximately 5000-year-old traditional Hatha Yoga system during practice; not only asanas (physical exercises), but also pranayama (breathing exercises), relaxation and meditation together help to make the body, mind and soul more flexible and stronger. A healthier body, a smoother nervous system, and stress relief are what we can achieve.
